F.A.Q.
When will I be billed
You will be billed for a one year term when you sign up for WidgetWeb.
What happens after the first term
After your first term, your subscription will be renewed automatically for another one year term. This billing cycle will continue automatically as long as you maintain your account with us.
Can I cancel after I've signed up
Our 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee allows you to cancel your order within 30 days without any cancellation fees. Should you cancel within this time, you will receive a refund of your hosting fee plus any setup fee you actually paid when you signed up, less any fee we paid to register your domain name.
Can I cancel after after the first 30 days
You can cancel WidgetWeb at any time. If you cancel after the first 30 days, you will receive a refund only for the unused portion of your hosting fee.
If I cancel, do I lose my domain name
No, the non-refundable domain registration fee of $19 means you own your domain until the end of the one-year registration term. You will have the ability to renew your domain after one year.
What do "unlimited disk space" and "unlimited data transfer" mean
You can obtain unlimited disk space and data transfer if you use WidgetWeb services consistently with the Terms of Service and this FAQ.
What is appropriate usage
WidgetWeb is designed to serve the web hosting needs of small, independently owned and operated businesses in the United States. It is not appropriate to use WidgetWeb to support large enterprises or internationally based businesses with a sustained demand that places undue burden on our systems or negatively impacts use by small, independently owned and operated businesses.
WidgetWeb is a shared web hosting service, which means that a number of customers' web sites are hosted from the same server. WidgetWeb administrators help ensure that use of our services does not adversely affect the performance of our system or other customers' sites. It is not appropriate to use an account primarily as an online storage space or for archiving electronic files.
What does "Disk space" mean
If you use WidgetWeb consistently with the Terms of Service and this FAQ, your site can grow as large as necessary to meet your small business needs, but to ensure a great experience for all, we will place some constraints on how fast you can grow. The vast majority of our customers' sites grow at rates well within our rules, but our administrator may cause a brief delay while we evaluate if expansion is appropriate.
What does "Data transfer" mean
In most cases, if you use WidgetWeb consistently with the Terms of Service and this FAQ, visitors to your web site will be able to download and view as much content from your site as they like. However, in certain circumstances, our server processing power, server memory, or administrator could limit downloads from your site.
You can also upload as much as content as you like each month, subject only to the Terms of Service and the rules that control how fast your site can grow (see above).
